God has always desired more than a gathering. He has desired a dwelling place. From Eden to Pentecost, Scripture tells one continuous story of God moving closer to His people. In Ephesians 2:19–22, Paul reminds us that the Church is not simply an organization, but a living temple. It is built on Christ, formed together in unity, and becoming a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
